Updated to Tahoe and now my M2 Studio Max renders simple things at a speed like it's getting the information over a modem line.

I hate the glass theme which is probably a performance drain. Don't fix what's not broken.

I'm not drinking Coca-Cola for at least fifty thousand years because of this abonimable AI slop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yy6f...

I think their only partially redeeming way out of this is to give 10 randos the same budget and see what they can come up with. Can't be worse.

ICE will reportedly hire contractors to surveil social media platforms 24/7 to target people for deportations.

The information would then be funneled into an existing ICE database built by Palantir (founded by Trump ally Peter Thiel).

Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

They used to call this "cancel culture."
Over the decades I have spoken at all of the service academies and War Colleges. They've all known I was "a critic" of many policies

This is a really, really ominous development

Draconian policies enable abuse and breed violence. They allow abusers to keep control over their victims through intimidation and the specter of legal repercussions if the victim reports the abuse.

Consequences like these of harsh policies are too often ignored by leaders who want to look strong.
The victim’s brother shared that his sister had long feared reporting her husband's abuse, worried it might lead to her deportation.

“She was afraid to be deported because of her kids — because she came for a better future for them,” he said.
