…And the city wonders why ridership isn’t at the levels they want/expect. Maybe if it wasn’t so painful to use, & didn’t feel so oppressive, more people would choose public transit instead of continuing to drive… or taking Ubers (that are purposely destroying public options for corporate profit)

I can’t remember a trip where there wasn’t a delay or some other BS in at least a decade… any time I’m stuck going anywhere I have to factor in a bunch of extra “bullshit time” to make sure I’m not late.

Years ago it was never like this. Used to be I could go anywhere in the city with no problems🫠

They’ve also wasted millions on #presto & getting rid of reusable tokens.

The fare machines are constantly broken & the single use passes are SO wasteful. They’re thick card stock with a ring of wire & chip inside.

They’ve lost so many fares… then penalize/fine ppl for being unable to pay!🫠🤬
