I used to find good book recs on Insta, and that's where I learned of Elen Chase. I've read the 1st three of her Italian Romance series. Book 2, "When we were fire on fire," is my fav. No fantasy/sci-fi but great characters + GORGEOUS writing: elenchase.com/italian-roma...
