If you really want to eliminate DEI then you’d remove the handicap ramps from public buildings. That’s called making accommodations for a group of people.

The thing that’s odd about the House and Senate Republicans is that in their haste to kiss the Orange backside they are making themselves obsolete. He’s completing bypassing and usurping their power and they are sitting back thinking “he’s getting them.” Nah, fool, he coming for you too.

Instead of Greenland or the Panama Canal, I say healthcare, affordable housing, a woman’s freedom to make medical decisions without political interference, quality, education, elimination of voting impediments, removal of convicted felons from the White House and racial parity, just to name a few.

Imagine when not paying taxes for undocumented immigrants who were your nannies blocked your path to a White House cabinet. Now paying 17-year-olds for sex isn’t an automatic “no” for some Republicans. It’s come to this.

These 2 Democrats, along with Shelly Willingham, voted with Republicans to pass the original bill. Ask them to vote no this time around! That additional $463 million should be used to help Western NC recover and to fully fund private schools!
