Finished listening to the audiobook version of this outstanding fantasty novel today. Filled with beautiful imagery, diverse characters and playfully pushing the boundaries, one of my favourite reads this year #booksky📚💙

Finished my first Nick Hornby book, About A Boy last night. The film has a special place in my teenage years and finally reading it brought back nostalgia, the was poignant and insightful abd being nearly the same age as Will now, not Marcus gave me new perspective. #booksky📚💙

Finished another audiobook. Ritchie Robertson's The Enlightenment was an ambitious and detailed examination of a social, political, philosophy and culture history that I knew pieces of but had never connected the threads into a web. It's definitely changed my perspective on 18th Century #booksky💙📚

Enjoying my first live drag experience at Bristol Old Vic. For only the 2nd time in my life, I have clapped for Mrs Thatcher. 1st time was during the song Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher from Billy Elliot musical, weeks after her actual death. #theatre

It's been a while since I posted another finished book. Reading Robert Frost's poems from across his career was a time consuming because the analyst in me had to explore each portrait.
I loved studying frost at A Level and that joy remains now. #booksky💙📚

Seeing the love and support Riho is receiving after a series of stupid and respect-losing comments made by Gail Kim is great.
It would be even better if Tony Khan booked Riho for Dynamite, then a personal storyline with a clear character arc for Riho to show her full capability on US soil. #AEW🤼

I now have another strange hobby that's become a very therapeutic Saturday morning ritual. Drying and sieving tealeaves to make compost for my roses. The smell also of so many different types of tea is incredible and aromatic🌹
