This is objectively good for the game. Players -should- be learning and engaging with mechanics. Players should absolutely have to pay attention and not autopilot their way through every fight.

Yep, agree with all of this (Though Zeah is one of my favorite parts of OSRS personally)

I'm excited to see what they do with it, I just hope they handle a certain god with more grace than they did in RS3

A worthy reminder that sometimes you just need to practice, even when its frustrating.

I think they originally had no intention of bringing in the RS3-style Jas storyline, and now that decision's reversed. Glad they did, but I hope they go different directions with it.

Love what they did with TD's though, their drops are fun.

The HyperQuest --> MiniQuest --> HeroQuest series has been super fun to work on. The focus is tiered complexity; HyperQuest is only three pages of rules, very condensed. MiniQuest is 10-15, HeroQuest will be much bigger.

I may expand this to other genres too, like DemonQuest and SteamQuest.

Along with some personal projects! I'm gonna work on some of my nonfiction writing, just little character stories and fics pretty much. Also working on MiniQuestRPG, a tabletop game I'm making!

I've already got HyperQuest, MiniQuest's little sister, all done. Will publish both on itch.io later
