On that note, I strongly recommend logging in to your medical portal(s) and explicitly opting out of medical record sharing, because otherwise your medical data is technically available to ~anyone without your knowledge

Despite personal challenges, the last 3+ years were some of my happiest, esp bc of the incredible city, state & federal staffers I got to call my colleagues & friends. Aways going to root these great folks on & one day, I'll be back & hit pension!! For now, always grateful to serve. What's next? /10

9/ Finally, the hardest thing to leave about gov is the people. New York is stronger bc of the dedicated public servants who work everyday to support constituent cases, partner w/ community boards, implement budgets that encompass our values. Thank your favorite staffer - here's just a few of mine.

8/ It was a dream to work in 1 Centre Street, in a building named after David Dinkins,. BP Levine is a deeply compassionate leader who I have seen firsthand make New York a stronger place. Thank you to him & our team for believing in me.

7/ To me, working in public health means addressing what people need to thrive. Was glad to spend the last year and a half diving into universal childcare, guaranteed income for parents, recruiting and retaining providers, paying providers on time, early intervention & more. ny1.com/nyc/all-boro...

6/ Our behavioral health system has been deeply underinvested in. From supportive housing to loan forgiveness, inpatient beds & clubhouses, our team has worked for years to identify & push for policy that meets New Yorkers where they are & prioritizes compassion & care.

Op-Ed | Breaking the mental health crisis cycle | amNewYork
The heartbreaking reality is that for too many New Yorkers, the cycle looks like this: the street, the subway, the emergency room—and then back to the street.

5/ I loved working on composting and circularity - ensuring we reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions while connecting with each other to fight climate change and preserve our natural spaces. Residential composting is HERE: learn more!

4/ I've loved trees policy since my Council days working on what became the Urban Forest Master Plan law CMs Bottcher, Krishnan & advocates passed for NYC. At the MBPO, I was on some of our pushes for A Million More Trees & increased funds for the Parks dept. gothamist.com/news/nyc-off...

3/ From infectious diseases to climate change and more, clean indoor air is increasingly becoming one of the most vital ways we can keep ourselves & each other healthy. We can make big things happen starting locally & I love our indoor air quality package w/ CM Powers. www.wsj.com/articles/nyc...

1/ Public bathrooms are one of the most unifying issues I've ever seen. Ensuring bathrooms reopen in subways, that more bathrooms are built, installed, maintained & accessible, these are just a few issues we made progress on with key community and Council partners. www.ourtownny.com/news/yes-we-...
