As an artist I feel like unreal makes the non-art stuff more intuitive to handle! I'm biased though I've seen moots do cool stuff in godot!

Looks good! For me it depends on how important the model is and how much it'll move, if it's not a character I'll try to decimate it (or save the low poly before I start sculpting), but for a simple shape like this I'd just model the low poly since it could just be a cylinder with a few subdivisions

That sounds like the way to go... I used to love browsing random playlists based on moods to discover new songs and artists. For now I just every channel I see that somehow makes one new album per day or doesn't mention at all where the music is coming from.
