⚽ It was fitting that Jesse Lingard scored in his final game for FC Seoul, and perhaps also fitting that the team could not hold on for the win.

An interesting story and reminds me a bit of the America Samoa's mens team back in 2011 who brought in Thomas Rongen (an American) to help change their fortunes.
🗓️ Oct 2025: Samoa's U17 Women become the first team to represent the nation at a global tournament.
🗓️ Nov 2025: American Samoa’s Women win their first-ever World Cup qualifier.
Both landmarks came in part thanks to two British scouts and an innovative approach to recruitment.
