Yesterday, we gathered to commemorate 203 Albertans who died due to their work. The CDLC & @cwalcottyyc.bsky.social underscored the profound loss that each death represents. One by one, 203 names were read aloud - a solemn reminder that one life lost is one too many

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we may be able to help. Visit helpwrc.org and click "Get Help" to access support.
Three questions to consider if you've recently lost your job Did you lose your job through no fault of your own? If yes, you may be eligible for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits. Were you terminated after taking time off work? It's important to find out if you were on a job-protected leave. Did you experience any discrimination at work? Depending on the type of discrimination, you may be able to file a human rights complaint.
