I've seen passport booths take better pictures than some of the stuff these companies expect parents to pay through the nose for, it's embarrassing to the profession quite frankly.

If schools were allowed to contract this stuff out to local actual independent photographers I could guarantee you prices would be lower and the quality of the photos higher, I know because I've done it. But it's "easier" to just bring in the same Tempest or Fizz or whoever hacks year after year.

What's alao to admire is the attention to detail. Not of the drawing necessarily, but you can actually make out the small print text underneath which is a proper dry matter of fact description of the drawing. Probably wouldn't have even been visible back when it was broadcast in standard def.

I just can't imagine dedicating so much of my life entirely in pursuit of making miserable people just trying to go about their business, bothering nobody but being more comfortable and content in themselves as human beings.
