Reminder: If a country is responsible for "only" 0.1% of global emissions, then it's responsible for 1 million of the 1 billion climate refugees estimated by 2050.
If Ireland's emissions are "too small to matter" then I might as well evade my taxes and eat doughnuts for lunch.

Read my latest column about the laziest excuse in the climate debate:

At a time of crisis, co-operation is the only way to resolve the climate collective-action problem

Looks like the “consume less” memo has definitely reached the 80% of people who pretend in surveys that they care a lot about taking more action on climate change.

And everyone is totally not pretending to care like they keep saying in surveys.

This would be an unambiguous war crime even in a proper war against a real enemy’s navy.

Two pots of Dyer's Greenweed (Genista tinctoria) cuttings taken today for ex-situ conservation.

Now categorised as Endangered in Great Britain. I'm glad I've been growing this species from both seed and cuttings for a few years now to bulk up local populations.

The very first thing the Prime Minister does is use the household budget metaphor.

A metaphor - this report into BBC coverage - said could be "easily misleading."

Why is the government trying to mislead the country?

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

£90 billon, how much tax revenue is lost because of Brexit EVERY Year
