My h̶y̶p̶e̶r̶f̶i̶x̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ pet project has been listing out as many of them as I can find, which at this point is 263, onto sig.codes. I'm *probably* not going to build out decoders for all of them, but I have a healthy start.

I think adding the "and staying rich" qualification makes it yet rarer and poses more questions. Can you be a "fundamentally good person" if you have resources to improve the world or avoid a lot of suffering and you don't deploy them for that purpose? What kinds of philanthropy count? It's complex.

I've seen arguments that (almost) nobody at that level can be ethical by definition: you need willing capitalist exploitation to get that kind of money in the first place. I can imagine some hypothetical counterexamples with inherited wealth or independent media but real world examples are scarce.
