While I certainly don't deny the existence of firearms in medieval Europe, I am sympathetic to the idea that including them feels weird EVEN IF IT'S TECHNICALLY HISTORICALLY ACCURATE.
That said! I do like the idea of stuff like handgonnes as a specialty weapon for handling particular monster types!

Reminder that Firearms existed in Medieval Europe before full plate armour.
If you've got a medieval-fantasy setting that features plate armour, it is absolutely NOT immersion-breaking to include early firearms.

😈I completely stunned one of my PCs at the end of tonight's Pathfinder session and I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself on this one.
They clearly didn't expect the "nemesis so bitter she tries to kill herself in front of you just to hurt you one last time".
