Tell you how I know this is true. I watched the same thing happen in real time with Alabama my senior year in HS. Only difference is there was no pregnancy. Otherwise, same thing. Shaun Alexander ran us to an SEC Championship and not only did they not fire him, they gave him an extension.
Had he beat Ohio State he would’ve gotten away with it for another season
