It's just wild to me that folks would look at $900 million in potential revenue and think --- "hmm...I'm not sure if that's a good idea b/c business lobbyists are taking up more time than community on my calendar".

And that they didn't take time to forcefully lobby their colleagues in this Op-Ed.

Base44 is crazy. I'm building out an app in a matter of hours that would have cost me months and thousands of dollars a year ago.

I do find it odd that they wrote this op-ed and didn't explicitly call for decoupling to happen rather than just mentioning it in passing.

The lack of leadership is pretty mind boggling.
