"AI also could wipe out humanity, not something desired in economic development projects."
Data centers, widely opposed, might not be long for this world • Michigan Advance

I don't know if Nessel has the inclination or the time (quite busy!) to run for governor, but she's got my vote if she comes out swinging.

No one will be paying attention until after "the holidays," so stay tuned. Whoever it is needs to break from Whitmer's acquiescence and show they will fight.

And the headline right below Whitmer's "urgency." Lol.

Getting really easy to tell the fighters from the fascist enablers. Vote accordingly.
AG Nessel opposes fast-track approval of AI data center power agreements
While Gov. Whitmer is urging the project forward, AG Nessel is asking the MPSC to slow down and hold a full, contested hearing on the contracts.

Oh look, I do have a governor. Can't be bothered on the concentration camps, right there for the destruction of the environment and high energy bills for us to institute technology that will destroy our jobs and run our lives. Cha-ching!

Beyond disappointment. Can you tell?
'TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE' | Whitmer supports Michigan's biggest investment ever: Multi-billion dollar AI data center
The governor framed the project as balancing economic development with environmental protection.

Democratic politicians need to stop accepting Trump’s white nationalist premise that immigration is bad and proudly and loudly make a positive case for why America’s identity and history as a nation of immigrants is so important.

Flip on the TV, biracial male couple kissing on the soap on CBS.

Waiting for Xena, where it ABSOLUTELY wasn’t allowed in 1995, but they really did walk it right up to the line. I had forgotten how much.

We’ve come a long way, baby.

Politico with a "Bad News for Trump" story? 🤔

"This serious threat to free speech and privacy rights protected by the First and Fourth Amendments is not hypothetical, as administration officials are making no secret of their intentions."

Orwell was off by 100 years. Imagine what this looks like by 2084 if we don't put a stop to it now.

My opinion of Slotkin has gone up since she's become a target, so I get the fear behind using impeachment as a lever.

BUT

I would like to see Ds introduce articles every single day, because you probably CAN at this point, and want the crimes spelled out on record.

Cheapen it? Maybe. But, history.

Had to go looking for MSU over all the rending of garments about Blue. Their loss is leading headlines (multiple) and features everywhere. Always been a problem, but I bet algorithms are making it so much worse.

(part of it is timing with Sparty playing late)

So the report & statement from the HOF was premature. Just talked to Mel Farr Jr., he said he talked to Lem Barney III, who talked to Lem's nurse, who said Lem is alive. "He's fine. I don't know where that report came from." He said he got a picture sent of Lem w/his nurse today.

Frank told them about the problem so the Lions knew, they just didn't know how bad.

So if he unretires, and the Lions don't take on the contract and put him on IR or whatever, is he a free agent? 🤔

Lions knew Frank Ragnow had hamstring issue, but the severity was a surprise
“So, yeah, we had an idea. We just didn’t -- We didn’t know it was going to be to that extent," Campbell said after the team announced Ragnow wouldn't return due to a failed physical.
