Wisconsin families are counting on their legislators to do better and to help stabilize and support the child care industry. But, last week Republicans on the Joint Finance Committee eliminated every major child care investment in the Governor’s budget, without offering any sustainable solutions.

Earth day was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin when he called for a "national teach-in on the crisis of the environment" in 1972. Over 50 years later, we carry on the spirit of this stewardship mission.
