To clarify, our group is the original WA. Not another group that piggy backed our name.
We are not obsessed with people who dress up in skirts and pretend to be warriors.
But we are very interested in Anglo Saxon history, like you.

We need to clarify that Wirral Archaeology is NOT the WACIC organisation.
Wirral Archaeology was created in 1980, many years before the other organisation. We have no association with that organisation and are completely self funded.
We registered our logo and name to protect our separate identity.

Edward Seager in his Hussars uniform.

in the Charge of the Light Brigade. He was wounded, but the following day he was promoted to Captain.
He then became a Major, then Colonel in charge of his regiment. Eventually he was appointed Major General
He died in 1883 and is buried in Toxteth Cemetery.
