Presidents get too much credit when the American economy is strong & too much blame when it isn’t. But in the case of farmers who can’t sell crops, Trump clearly gets 100% of the blame. Rare when you can point to economic disaster in a sector directly attributable to a president.

Trump leaked this story because he wants to you hear it. Let’s be clear :: Trump wants you to blame a shutdown for shit he is planning to do anyhow. If dems cave and fund him, he will STILL wield executive power and slash government programs. He HAS BEEN doing that with the government open.

If the government shuts down on Wednesday, National Guard troops that are currently deployed in Washington D.C. would still be required to work and would do so without pay until the funding issue is resolved, according to a source familiar with the plans.
