hi and welcome to my profile! I'm a biologist from 🇪🇦, I did my master thesis on testate amoebae, and I am beginning my PhD on more basal protists

This funding gap isn’t distant or only affecting big name universities. We have incredible research happening right here in Maine.
Federal funding helped enable my team to find a 1-billion year old link between how weird algae and plants communicate stress. Understanding the roots of that process can help us better interpret the origins of plant stress resilience.
