He wasn't a nazi at school, he had careers before politics, I've not seen any hint of secret houses or bungs from industry, and his lifestyle matches Green policy and ideology. He is also arguing for something patently beneficial. None of that can be characterised as grifting.

Then wouldn't it be better for him to have gotten on the bandwagon for whatever other party seemed to have more of a chance of getting in? Like, what are you even saying? A guy can't change his opinions now? Learn? Has to be a grift?

I would argue that people read and wrote and engaged deeply during the actual rise of Nazi Germany and through every pandemic. The only difference now is AI. It's made everyone a monkey trained to press button and get prize.

I would suggest that the economy could have something to do with it. If it doesn't = money in an obvious way, people are apathetic to it. Why learn to read when AI can read for you? They don't know/care how utterly inadequate an AI summary would be.
