Was Lib Dem PPC for Exeter 🔶

Promoted by Exeter Lib Dems at 35A Howell Rd, EX4 4LT
Huge numbers at the Exeter is for Everyone rally to show that Exeter stands for hope not hate.

Lovely to bump into friends, including Cllr Kevin Mitchell.

Smashing result!

Congratulations Cllr Kevin Smith. Down to earth, very nice, and in tune with the issues in his local area - the ideal choice!

Also good to catch up with peeps

Very nice to be helping clear up my neighbourhood this morning by litter picking 🚮

Filled a whole bin bag!

We'll now be doing this & kerbside cleaning the first Sunday of every month

Hopefully the regularity will help bring the community together even more

Complained again to the BBC over its bias for Reform UK. He's on their news almost every single time, but heard nothing on his hypocritical stamp duty tax dodging 🧐

Hopefully more than a weak, flawed, limited copy & paste response this time...

I've had enough of the BBC's blatant and repeated bias, disproportionately promoting a party with just 5 MPs.

What can we do about it? Do what Brits do best: complain. The more complaints they receive, the more likely they are to do something about it.

I know from friends, family & door-knocking, PIP disability benefits are already dangerously too hard to claim. Yet Labour propose cuts.

It's abhorrent to save from amongst our most vulnerable whilst inequality continues to rise.

I’ve written to Exeter’s MP to make the case & clarify his position:

Busy weekend!

Litter-picking with the local Exeter Lib Dem team & Friends of Hoopern Valley community.

Attending env discussion hosted by Caroline Voaden & Roz Savage MPs, so CAN Bill a hot topic - thwarted by Labour but good to get up agenda.

Surveying social homes near Yeovil for solar panels🌞

But based on ECC previously taking 11mo to clear broken glass I reported on the footpath behind Northernhay, I took matters into my own hands here on my lunch break in Pinhoe Playing Fields. There was shattered glass across the pavement & larger pieces to the side.

It shouldn't have to be this way.

Growing up & living in St James, I'm honoured to stand to be our representative on Devon CC.

It’s a nice place to live - close to the centre, quirky architecture & real sense of community. I want to work with you to make St Sidwells & St James even better - where all our community can thrive. (1/4)

Happy New Year! 🌟

As a friend I met when out delivering this evening said: starting the year as I mean to go on!

Thank you to all those helping deliver in St James! Do get in touch if you'd be up for getting stuck in too in the run-up to 1st May 2025 Devon County Council elections 📣
