college wasn’t a good time for me. my family fell apart my second year, and i had to focus on work and keeping my head barely above water instead of my courses and social life. and i’ll be in debt til i die. but hey, i did the thing. and it’s wild to be so far removed, now. so, i’ll take that.

when my husband and i first moved in together i swear popcorn was the *only* snack we ate. we had so many seasonings! it was such a Thing for us. we never did the stove top, but have one of those air popper things.

i wore a sweater and thin yoga-style pants for our running around today and i was comfy as can be. we’re a weirdly hearty breed in western PA!

if you have a car and aren’t relying on uber, absolutely drive the peninsula! it’s at its most gorgeous in the winter. recommend juice jar or brew haha for good food/coffee on your way. the food hall downtown has several cool stalls in it, not sure what vegan options now, but it’s festive!

just when i thought i couldn’t vehemently hate gambling more what the actual fuck is this shit

and these cold temps mean the bay here in erie is already getting a thin layer of ice, which means the lake is already getting cold, which means maybe, just maybe, the lake effect machine will shut off sooner than later🤞🏻 (the sun is so lovely today!)
