Just picked one of these up. By far the best keyboard experience I have ever had. The piano patches are great on here and I find myself switching depending on if I'm playing show tunes or going for the Nashville sound.

We need more sci-fi like “Foundation” and less of whatever joke Star Trek and Doctor Who have become.

I understand many criticisms of LLMs including making people dumber...
But doesn't anyone find the irony these studies used computers--machines that were literally invented to think for human beings?

Doctor Who needs to rest. Each era after Moffat just gets louder and less grounded. Before the next iteration, let this tired old thing rest and find incubate for the next renewal.
Curse you Disney+ deal. We have so many open plot holes from the last 2 seasons that will never get resolved on screen

I'm in my mid fifties and still learning new things. I set up my first Linux server with a web service running on it last week. After all this time in macOS, I'm finally diving into the terminal commands and SSH. Basics for many, but I was spoiled growing up with Visual Studio and its wizards.

Code reviews are getting weird. Just whose code am I reviewing? If it's an entry dev who I'm mentoring...would they understand my comments? Or would they be offended because it was their decision not the AI?

I've been working with 2 less experienced coders who have never created Flutter apps on a big project these past couple of weeks. We're using Cursor to fill in the knowledge gaps. There are some issues, but as the tech improves, there are definite career threatening implications here. #vibecoding

Nothing surprises me.
Welcome to the, “Nobody even cares anymore, let’s just get it over with,” portion of the end times.

Working on my first vibe, coding project using Cursor. I still don’t get how non-coders can do this… but they are. One mistake, and no source control can kill a solution in less than a minute.

Under new management, perhaps the Kennedy Center will finally get a live action version of "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut". It's even got a culture war with Canada.

I wonder if it's possible to agree with some great things this administration is doing, but also use my brain to criticize what I don't like. Because I am not happy about one thing doesn't mean I'm going to completely realign my entire thought process left or right.

As long as we know this type of generative AI is obviously satire, I am all for it.

Every keyboard needs a hardware switch that allows me to permanently make the function keys mean F1 through F12. Not software. Not a stupid FN button. A physical switch.
I need function keys more than I need to constantly adjust screen brightness. If you want to be fancy, add a stupid volume knob.

Desktop software makers, especially Adobe and Microsoft: let users opt out of the annoying text popups pointing out new features every time you update. I don't care any more. I want to get work done instead of being reminded of things like "You can chat with your PDF document now! How exciting!"
