In her old age, she walked you.

Jozy loved her nubbins. She could catch a dogobie like a wide receiver. Who dat? A sharpeagle. We had our own vocabulary. In her old age, she walked you. Make no mistake about it. I ride through the UL Lafayette athletic complex to and from work when I commute by #bike. Today I had to wait for about 150 #football players on the Ragin’ Cajuns to pass before I could continue. Geaux #Cajuns!

Rainy afternoon and evenings call for homemade #pasta and #bruschetta!

Made some hand cut #ravioli (paired with a brown butter and sage sauce); bruschetta; a radicchio, arugula, pear and mozzarella salad; and some fettuccini noodles with the leftover pasta dough. Jozy was impressed.

Met the man flying this 65 foot kite today. A year ago he was in a bike accident and lost his leg. He just got a prosthetic one and has taken up flying kites as it is helping him with balance and stamina.

All you need is a good bungee cord!
