If you have a child newly diagnosed with #autism I do not care what level 1-3 low support needs or high get them on the Medicaid waiver wait list in your state. In Kansas my son was on the wait list for 9 years. He was put on it when he was 4.

I don’t go out much, but tonight one of our primary vendors hosted a cocktail party at a historic lounge in KC so I went. Reconnected with several people over work with in the past and got to talk to adults outside of work which was really nice. Thanks Logicalis for hosting.

Took 2 of my children for lab work today and both of them did amazing. Blood draws were easy peasy, no crying or complaining. My daughter is used to them, she has a thyroid issue but my oldest non-verbal autistic son, I didn’t know what to expect. He was completely chill. #ProudDad

After 8 long years my son’s Medicaid waiver has finally been approved and he has been enrolled. Fun fact, he has to maintain residency in our state or he goes back to the end of the line wherever he moves to so that limits my housing options since I live near a state border. #specialneeds #asd

Cool dad shit. My daughter (11) told me a couple nights ago that she had a girlfriend. I feel great that she is comfortable enough with our relationship to tell me that and also that she has found her first love.

Hung up a Wyebot sensor yesterday for a trial run. Today I added some custom wireless/wired network tests. I’ve got it hung in the middle of a group of classrooms so I can see about 27 APs from it. Started getting some good data that says our network is doing well. #Wi-FiLife
