Silva Materia: Also known as hy by shin alchemists, colloquially termed cores by Shinfolk. These cores are the source & locus of a widdershin’s elemental power & are unique to each Shin, since they contain part of a Shin’s soul. They are immensely powerful concentrated magic, believed by many to be the very Prima Materia of the universe handed down to the Triad siblings Chaos, Spirit & Eros. Cores are carried & concealed in special, enchanted bejeweled eggs that hide their immense power from the entity only known as He Who Drains The Light or just He. The eggs can never be lost or stolen, as they magically rematerialize with their Shin within seconds. Tampering with a Shin’s egg is considered one of the greatest offenses in Widdershin culture.

Each year, taking part in the Annuva Sacra, our kin return to these thawed ancestral lands, believing that here, the living and the dead walk side by side. In this place where the veil thins, Beneath endless skies and warm winds, souls are said to reunite... if only for a fleeting season. The Summerlands rest at the heart of vast, ancient leylines. When the stars align and ice gives way to life, the land hums with magic. Here, the we find our power deepened. Magic comes more easily in this place — even spells that would normally seem impossible take shape with little effort. In this way, the Summerlands feel like a true homecoming for most of us! The First Hollow lies deep within the Summerlands, where we believe our people were first shaped by the Anima Mundi (the gods of earth, fire, air, and water). It’s a remote valley that takes effort to reach, and not all who journey during Annuva Sacra travel that far. Still, all of our kin know of it and speak of it with respect as one of the many sacred places that make the Summerlands special. It is at the First Hollow that all Coring Ceremonies take place. During the time of the Blight, He Who Drains the Light tried to destroy this place at its source, but it was sealed away beneath deep snow and ice. Because of this, we hold the First Hollow and the Summerlands as even more sacred as they were obviously protected by the gods themselves.

The main cities are listed, such as The Emberfast for Fireshin, Seat of the Evergreen for Earthshin, Nova Aeris for Airshin lands, and The City of One as the main kingdom. There's also Morshroud, the land of the dead, and The Blighted Lands, a grey, desolate burned looking place.
