My takeaway is that his offer to throw cash at soldiers is a ploy to get them on board with his 2026 martial law plan and that, as expected, he has no ability to pivot on *even one issue*—even with an election year looming—which is a disaster for the GOP

Oh and US media will always give him airtime

He’s legitimately a moron.

If Trump truly won with a mandate, and Republicans have the White House, House, and Senate - which they do - then all the failures are due to him and his Administration and Party.

If Trump announces a new and illegal regime change war against Venezuela tonight pay attention to which elected Democrats stay silent and don’t vociferously oppose and condemn him for it - and then make sure those Dems are subjected to primary challenges next year.

Donald Trump doesn’t want military personnel to know their rights.

Too bad.

We’re getting them lawyers anyway — especially folks worried they’ve received a “manifestly illegal order.”

McGovern: "When billionaire CEOs need something, Republicans move at lightning speed. But when it comes to working people needing affordable health care, suddenly the story changes. There's hand wringing and the money is gone. My friends, if you are ok with that, we do not share the same values."

Agree. #25A, ***now***
This is nuts! He’s now claiming that Venezuela stole their oil fields from the US and demands their “return.” He’s also unilaterally imposing a blockade of oil tankers. In a normal world, starting a delusional war & demanding Venezuela hand over their oil would instantly trigger the 25th Amendment.

I cant wait until the world is no longer fixated on Trump and his toddlers.

Progressive Legal Think Tanks have to focus on recreating the federal government to make it better than it was now that Trump smashed everything. It’s not a “clean up in isle 6” job. It’s rebuilding laws and institutions.

The difference between Rob Reiner and trump is…millions will celebrate the life of one and someday millions will celebrate the death of the other.

Live a life that makes Trump attack you when you die.
Rob Reiner was creative, generous, and intelligent; all things a stupid petty narcissist conman finds threatening.
Rob left a lasting legacy. Trump will leave nothing when he dies, just a gold plated gravestone people will only visit to piss on

“Trump Derangement Syndrome” has always been a way to smear people for having a logical, rational response to Trump having power. The real TDS is normalizing Trump’s power and the way he abuses it

It’s always devastating to lose such a bright, positive light in this world. This man had all the privilege and $, but still felt it his duty to speak out in opposition to this regime.

Hoping for peace and healing for his family.

Rob Reiner: “Silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity. Speaking out is a patriotic act. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation, vigilance, and courage from ordinary people."

Trump posted this without knowing Nick Reiner had been arrested. He posted it apparently assuming that one of his fans had murdered Rob Reiner. So if you want to know how Trump will react once his fans start murdering his enemies, now you know. He'll celebrate and blame his enemies.

This!!!

While I agree MSM is feckless.

EVERY single #GOP in office has ALREADY condoned his actions, months ago.

This is already on them, and they need to be voted out, every single one.
📌ATTENTION MSM: NO interview starts with ANY Republican without making them account for this grotesque statement from the clearly deranged and vengeful President of the United States of America.
Folo-up question: How long will you continue to cover for this very, very sick and vulgar man?

In a world where fewer and fewer people concern themselves with the plight of others, the loss of Rob Reiner, who cared deeply about humanitarian causes, feels that much more devastating. RIP: 1947-1925.
