This would be an interesting choice seeing as he's barely covered the genre. @carrythegary.bsky.social will give him a prawn vindaloo inspired fart to the face if he scores it less than 10/10 too 😏🤣

Carrier is a not too shabby Resident Evil clone with some unique features. Bought it from Game in 2001/2 in a 4 for £10 bargain bin deal. Wouldn't say it's worth the money it commands nowadays 😧

Credits rolled on game 25 of 2025, Limbo.
It's a decent enough little puzzle-platformer but I'm struggling to see what's so special about it. Yet another game raved about by the community that I've found... better than average, at best. Worth a go for less than £2.

Game 24 of 2025 sped through, Sonic Origins.
Enjoyed playing these impeccable titles (and Sonic CD) again, with the subtle modern changes, some good some less so. Some of the challenges were a nightmare to S rank but I enjoyed these games enough to stick at it. A decent way to enjoy the classics.

Flag waved on game 23 of 2025, Horizon Chase Turbo.
Recent real-life events have left me struggling to enjoy gaming so returned to an old favourite to complete again, adventures and all. Still a phenomenal retro inspired arcade racer that hits all the right notes, just low-poly perfection.

Wonder if it's a regional thing, the different names for it? Like with these, err... baps?

It's been well over 25 years since I last bought or even 'played with' Lego, only by chance I realised sets like a simple pair of roses existed. Seems a fitting and lasting tribute to the man who bought me all the Lego I could have possibly wanted back when I was a nipper.

Game 22 of 2025 finished, Silent Hill - Play Novel
If Silent Hill was one of those "choose your own story" type books it would be this. The PS1 classic's story in text form with still image backdrops, some multiple choice options, a couple of simple puzzles. You're best just playing the proper game

Game 21 of 2025 burned off, Heaven Dust II.
A fantastic showcase of modern indie talent and a remarkable love letter that improves on the first game in almost every way. Has it's flaws but a joy to play. Really hope it won't be too long before a third game takes the story even further.

Game 20 of 2025 slain, Phantasy Star.
"He actually played a JRPG outside of Pokemon!" shocker. It's pretty good for a 1987 game from a genre I don't usually have any patience for. Basic and enjoyable, but I doubt I'll be rushing out to play all the other turn-based games out there in a hurry.

Ever played this one? There's no end of YouTube videos trashing it as the worst game on PS2, however I like it. Not a classic by any means but despite the dull factory setting it's a solid 6/10. Like a 3D Cool Spot.

Game 19 of 2025 smashed, Donkey Kong 64 - Tag Anywhere.
It's been... An experience. Being able to change characters anywhere has made a world of difference. It bleeds that unmistakable N64-Rare magic and is fun, but far too stressful in too many sections to be one of the true greats.
