So this might be overkill but I just made a purchase for the Raspberry Pi 5 with 16gb ram for myself as a birthday gift to myself 😂
Never owned one but I'm excited and can't wait for when it arrives!
p.s ignore the price lol I kinda got it for free using some redeemed points 😉

Did you know that in Rust (#rustlang) , you can easily have custom build profiles for your binary with Cargo?
For example, if you want your application binary to be optimized for size, you can do this instead:

Personally, as a software engineer, I have a dark side.
While I'm in the midst of building something, I can randomly get new ideas that I want to build right away.
And trust me when I say that they are tempting as hell.
Got to resist their seduction.
Oh boi 😂

I haven't put out a video in quite a number of months but my subscriber count just keeps increasing.
I am feeling guilty right now 😆
But thanks to whoever subscribed!
I actually am researching a few topics before I put out a new video regarding 1 of them lol

Spent almost half of the day today doing a major #rustlang refactoring for @monitorbolt.bsky.social!

Was setting up a new lambda function for @monitorbolt.bsky.social , and using 2 different #rustlang crates (namely sqlx and tokio-postgres).
While they are both blazingly fast for a simple query, tokio-postgres spent only around 100ms while sqlx took 2x the amount of time (200ms +)!
I wonder why 🤔

Don't just listen to what people say, see and observe their actions too.
Most of the time that will show you who they really are.
Now excuse me while I go work on my favorite JS side-project:
