Fascinating to see how far the Royal estate extends. When you can bung a 'spare' into a 30 room mansion after unfortunately losing the tasteful place he and Fergie had. I'd assumed they were holed up in Frogmore cottage, or somewhere... How vast is Windsor estate, I wonder? What secrets can it hide?

If the impact of Brexit is so bad, why is the Govt so hell-bent on keeping us out. Tory-lite? And very odd, because ultimately she's taxing us more due to a flawed decision, based largely on lies. Can anyone explain?

I'm not an Anthea Turner fan and I've not even read this beyond the headline......but I spent about 38 yrs fearing that I'd be found out. The last last five? In no longer matters at this point in my career (which is quite liberating)!

This is going to disappoint, I'd imagine. As will the lack of Midland Mainline electrification and bus fares rising by 50% from the old £2 cap. Not good times for transport in SY, you might think....

I had one, xmas gift 1978, bought from Barnards, Pitt St, Barnsley. I chucked it after it had been in the loft for years - a mistake in hindsight - but the TV would not work on today's signals and was b+w, of course. Large block on the side (just visible here) for mains power. Happy times!
Picked up this fun little Sony tape deck/micro CRT combo on a whim

Sadly broken, but hopefully not for long

It's cute! 😍

Fantastic! But what became of Hitler's launch, i wonder? And the Lion. In the 70s there was a lion at a scrapyard in Klondyle, Barnsley (twixt Monk Bretton and Cudworth!) in the same era...

I'd rather stake everything on national investments than iffy deals to make pals rich...remember the £37m Boris test and trace deal, which failed, while Germany did it well for twelve shillings and sixpence?

And for the less sharp-eyed among you, the pic is Hoyland nick. How do I know? I took it while waiting for a couple of councillor chums to turn up, a little while ago. Still a photographic crutch for my stories, great to see others using it too!
