The Coop car park at Lampeter floods easily & frequently. Heavy rain forecast. I’ll shop quickly. This river is Afon Dulas which joins the Teifi a few metres away.

I took someone else’s rugged box design, chopped it up in TinkerCAD, stretched it and added dividers to make a pen box. Creality K2 3D printer, Creality Hyper PLA. #3Dprinting

I've been caning this iPad for nearly 4 years. For a year it was my only screen, used for Zoom calls, streaming TV etc. It is often recharged overnight and again during the day. It still has better than 75% battery health. I'm impressed. Sadly, screen isn't doing so well, has 'digital smudges'.

On the left, Golden Fluid Acrylic quinacridone magenta £11.80 for 30ml, on the right Liquitex Acrylic Soft Body £11.30 for 59ml. Both prices from Jacksons Art. I'll buy more Liquitex in future. (Both swatches made with Catalyst W-06 wedge).

AFAIK there are no surviving photos of the uncle I never met, my father’s older brother who died before WWII got properly started. So I share this photo of his grave on 11th November every year.

We don’t do expensive gifts in my family. My sister found these delightful Hot Wheels cars in an ’antiques’ shop for my birthday, and also some Caramel Nibbles. Never mind what the packet says, anyone wanting to share them can fuck right off.

Moving some stuff around I came across my Ba dissertation. I read it for the first time in many years & thought it was pretty good. Remembered the way history & theory was taught at college was positivity sadistic, seemed clear tutors wanted to make it an unpleasant experience. 1/2

No lying or making yourself out to be a cool kid. Post the first record you bought. If you can remember the shop or circumstances add that too. Local colour appreciated.
Cycled many miles from home in Chobham, Surrey, in 1969 to nearest record shop. CCR as not cool then as they are now.

I have been experimenting with scrape painting — pulling a band of paint down the paper with a rubber tool made for the job. These 2 are experiments, I might try for a finished piece today. First painting used mid priced acrylics, second one used ruinously expensive Golden Fluid Acrylics.
