Another for the Shinsengumi collection. I want to say I have them all? I'm digging Shinpachi so far, though he's no SHINSENGUMI DAAAAA (Hijikata) or Saito "Jim from the office looking into the camera" Hajime.

I went for a walk this morning and saw an unneutered stray cat. He mostly seemed to be doing okay - a bit dirty, but not too skinny. I bought a breakfast sandwich and fed him a bit before he took off.
It makes me sad how many strays we have in Long Beach. They always look so alert and scared.

I picked this up recently and I'm very excited to explain to people in California who have no idea what Boss Coffee is, lol.

I'm one episode in and this already feels like an easy lock for anime of the season for me, even knowing nothing about Kamen Rider.

I spent most of the day packing and Tess is having a great time with all of the boxes. The boys don't seem to care much, but I keep hearing Tess make her little gibberish Tortie noises from various boxes in the hallway.

I played Tactics in 2002 and it for sure had the great impact on me of any game I played. I'm a sucker for love stories, so FFX and FFIX meant a lot to me. Shadowbringers is just all around incredible and made me rethink how good an MMO story could be.

I know why this is happening, and that it's not going to stop happening, and that whining doesn't change anything, but shit it is depressing how many places that used to have actual things made by people are inundated with slop from AI mills.

I love how Oda draws Nami and Zoro's faces. Whenever I see panels like this it makes me want to stop what I'm doing and go draw something.

Valeera's now at peace, no longer in pain, having dined upon In and Out as a last meal. Hopefully she'll see Brynden on the other side, and my partner's pets who have crossed the bridge.
She was an incredible girl, and I'm so grateful that she was in my life for 8+ years. Love you, doggo.

The old lady has had a rough couple of days, mostly to do with getting up there in age. We can't do much about what she's dealing with aside from helping her try and manage the pain. She's getting a lot of cuddles and cheese (with medicine wrapped inside) at least, so she's in okay spirits.

Today's the last day of the trip, so I figured I'd go have an adventure in Enoshima. The aquarium is very neat - on par I'd say with the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
