I used to sell car insurance and sometimes I'd have an older person say they weren't renewing because their license had been taken away.
Now this isn't ageist or ableist. They're 95 years old and can't follow a conversation to the end of the sentence, they shouldn't be driving

A friend makes her own clothes and a while back her son wanted a dress so she sewed one up before school. When she dropped him off at school other mothers were "why is he in a dress?" and she shrugged and said he wanted one.
