Anyway, if anybody has favorite air fryer recipes or cookbook suggestions, please share.
You would think receiving an air fryer for Christmas would be a nice thing, but in fact it is precipitating a mini-crisis regarding the amount of counter space in our kitchen, with several downstream challenges.

I have a switch that's dropping its uplink and having really high CPU usage every few days, but so far, only during off-hours.

Of course, now that I've involved the vendor's tech support (who have given me a list of log files to pull the next time it happens), it's worked perfectly.

So your medical bill doesn't have a web site, just a QR code, and when you open the QR code and try to pay it, it won't take the payment because it's not a valid patient account no., but there is actually no field for the acct. no. (just a statement no.). And then when we give up trying to pay

I’m old enough to remember when people reviewing my book on divorce wondered why I wrote it since women had choices and marriage wasn’t expected anymore *lights cigarette*
The folks behind Project 2025 are now focused on using the might of the Trump admin to push women to marry and have babies.
My take is 🤮🤮🤮
Btw, the guy behind this doc is married to the head of the dark money group behind remaking SCOTUS and overturning Roe.

Also neat at CES: HP’s battery-powered PC built into a keyboard. Sort of a screenless laptop.

Someone asked me to comment on the anniversary of Jan 6. I will consider having comments on it….should it ever end. We are very much still reaching for the nadir of this reclamation. No time yet for historicizing it. Still trying to survive it.

I see so many people talk about the enormous psychic burden of living in these times, and the thing is most of that is about hyperawareness, not personal experience.

By being On Here, you're getting blasted by a THX sensory-scape of madness-inducing takes about objectively awful things.
