I saw that a few years ago and I loved it. Barbara Stanwyck is wonderful as always and it was nice to see S. Z. Sakall and Sydney Greenstreet in support. Fun fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger of all people directed a remake of it.

Start them slowly and they'll be watching The Long Kiss Goodnight in no time.

That's not really fair. Thanks to budget cuts and information that Netflix harvested from their customers, their shows are now 8 episodes long.

Netflix would also raise questions about the future of Warner's physical media efforts, one of the few strengths of Warner Bros. these days. (I can buy a Blu-ray copy of "Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles" in 2025!) Warner Archive vs. a streaming company that doesn't care about physical media?

Nice catch, I do enjoy an incidental Christmas movie.

The labelling of it as "grief porn" seems very inane. It's a film about losing a child for God's sake.
