Lucifer disheveled with a drink Lucifer lounges, eyes heavy, shirt half undone, and jacket askew. The beat of the music pulses through him. He is the room, and the room is him. Oooh, these gummies are splendid! Stronger than he expected, but delightful. Relaxation and joy spreads under his skin with each thump of the bass. Such lovely people those girls were, giving him a handful without expecting anything in return. Well…maybe they wanted something, but they didn’t insist, and he’s a one-woman Devil these days. He stretches and relaxes back against the wall, looking over the dance floor. Colored beams of light sweep over the crowd, reflecting off the pipes in the ceiling and the windows way up high. A shaft of blue light sweeps over him, transporting him, though he stays in place. The dance floor expands and contracts with the beat, trying to tug him forward. It’s as though he’s on a ride, and part of him itches to let go—to allow himself to slide into the middle of the hundreds of sweaty, scantily-clad people enjoying themselves. Not long ago, he would have thrown himself into the middle of this sea of lust and desire, drowning in a haze of sin only to recreate himself and drown again. He has always been a Devil of abandon. Now, Lucifer stays where he is, waiting for Chloe to be done in the bathroom. Impatient for her to come back, so he can stop fending off half-naked people and have her instead. The dance floor isn’t the only thing that’s expanding, but the only person he wants is her. He drowns in her daily, and she recreates him with her hands.

I think this is the best description I’ve seen of Lucifer’s love for Chloe. Someone needs to write a fic about him being an “intentional menace”, because I would definitely read it. In fact, I love that his love is so relentless, because he just doesn’t know any better! #LuciferFanfiction 📺😈
