I will give Suozzi more credit than he gives himself. He knew what the vote was. He just figured the way to "win" was to support the funding because that's more "centrist" and buck the Democratic majority. But morally, he knew what this was about. He ended up wrong morally AND politically.

Senate Democrats have vowed to block a sweeping government funding bill unless significant restrictions are imposed on the Trump administration's immigration enforcement operations after a Border Patrol agent fatally shot Alex Pretti.
Most of the government could shut down this weekend. ICE operations would carry on.

This is outrageous. The ICE person in question is paid with PUBLIC MONEY. We absolutely have a right ro know who it is. This is an active cover-up, not an "investigation ".
