Ritter Violin bass
The Ritter Violin bass looks like an actual violin, more along the lines of an early EB-0 than the Hofner style. There's a slim humbucker pickup in the neck, and it's directly output with no knobs or switches. (The output jack is on the back of the guitar.)

Rickenbacker 450/12
The Rickenbacker 450/12 is a solidbody electric guitar with a large pickguard. It's got two "toaster" single-coil pickups, and each one has its own volume and tone control. There's also a 3-way switch. The headstock is the normal Ricky 6/6 split design, with half of the tuners pointing sideways and half pointing down.

Ibanez 580B Ballback
The Ibanez 580B Ballback is shaped like a Telecaster with a deeper lower cutaway. It's got two humbuckers, one volume and one tone control, and a 3-way switch. It's also got a Floyd Rose-style locking trem.

Jayemar Alma Archtop
The Jayemar Alma Archtop is a modern take on the old-school jazzbox. It's got a single cutaway and one F-hole that's shaped like a lower case j. There's a single humbucker in the neck, and it's controlled by one volume and one tone knob. The fretboard has fanned frets and is topped by a 3/3 split headstock.

Marlin PB-26 bass
The Marlin PB-26 bass looks like somebody put a corset on an ES-335. It's a hollowbody with two F-holes, a really narrow waist, and very long and pointy cutaway horns. It's got two single-coil pickups, one volume, and one tone control.

Gibson/Alembic 12-string
Here's a 12-string that Alembic customized for David Crosby. It started out as a Gibson Crest 6-string (imagine an ES-335, but totally hollow, short-scale, and made out of rosewood). He took it to Alembic in 1970, and Rick Turner did some magic to it. Rick wired up two humbuckers and hooked them to an onboard preamp so they can output in mono or stereo. It looks like there are two volume and two tone controls, but one of the volume controls has been moved to the lower horn where the switch would normally be. The coolest thing about this guitar is that Rick wired in some red LEDs on the side of the neck for fret position markers. That's most likely the first time anybody had done that. (It was 1970, after all.)

Gibson Holy Explorer
The Gibson Holy Explorer is what it sounds like: an Explorer with holes. There are 4 that stretch from the bridge to the end of the body, two between the two humbuckers, and one below the neck pickup. There's a volume knob and a 3-way switch.

Dalzell Destroyer
The Dalzell Destroyer was built by luthier Mark Dalzell in 2007. It's a Strat-style guitar with a 4-string mandolin neck above the guitar neck and a theremin (!) below it. The mandolin has one P90-style single-coil pickup and the guitar has 5 Strat-style pickups. The body of the guitar is absolutely festooned with buttons, knobs, and switches. There's a bank of them behind the bridge that control onboard distortion, chorus, and flanger.

Yerevan TWO-GRIFF doubleneck
The TWO-GRIFF doubleneck was made in Yerevan, Armenia back when it was still part of the USSR. It's got a weird, lumpy shape and has a 6-string guitar on top and a 4-string bass on bottom. The guitar has three single-coil pickups, and the bass has two. The guitar side also has a tremolo and a blade-style switch. The bass side looks like it's got two knobs and a on/off switch, but I have no idea what does what. Like most Soviet-era guitars, It's got a DIN jack instead of a 1/4 inch plug.

Guyatone LG-880 Marroly
The Guyatone LG-880 Marroly is an evolution of their earlier LG-50 model, and was originally developed for Rory Gallagher. It's got a roughly Les Paul shaped body, but a wider cutaway. There are two single-coil pickups, and each one has their own volume control to go along with a master tone control and a 3-way switch.

Fender Wildwood VI
The Fender Wildwood VI is a fairly normal-looking acoustic guitar that's based on their Kingman model. It's got a large body-colored pickguard. The bridge with individual saddles is a nice touch. At first glance, the weirdest part of the guitar is the bolt-on neck. It's got large block inlays and a 6-in-line headstock. You might think the green on the headstock is a neat paint job, but it's not. It's weirder than that. Let's flip the guitar over to get a better look. Here's the back of the guitar. You can really see the grain of the wood. It's green because Fender found a way to inject different color dyes into beech trees. The Wildwood line started with six different colors, hence the VI designation on this guitar. Fender also made Wildwood versions of their Coronado II electric.

Godin A11 Glissentar
The Godin A11 Glissentar is a thinline acoustic guitar with a single-cutaway body similar to a Telecaster. It's also fretless and has 11 nylon strings. (The only one that isn't doubled from a normal 12-string setup is the low E.) It's got sliding controls for volume, bass, mid, and treble.

Fender Colonelcaster
This one-off Fender Colonelcaster is perfect for your chicken-pickin' needs. It was made to commemorate the 1998 Association of Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisees convention in Nashville. It's got a large pickguard with a red, white, and blue picture of Colonel Sanders and the KFC logo . It looks to be set up like an Esquire, with just the one bridge pickup. It's got a volume and tone knob and a 3-way blade switch. It's also got black knobs and a what looks like a Squier neck. There's an engraved plate on the back of the guitar. In all caps, it reads: This commemorative Fender "Colonelcaster" is proudly presented by the staff of Graphic Workshop on the occasion of the 1998 AKFCF convention in "Music City USA" Nashville Tennessee

Gretsch BST-1500 Beast
The Gretsch BST-1500 Beast (or model 8217, if you go by the old Gretsch model numbers) is a solid-body electric with a single cutaway and a large black pickguard. It's got two humbuckers, one volume and one tone control, and a 3-way switch. It also has a Strat-style hardtail bridge. The weirdest thing about this guitar is the headstock logo is printed sideways instead of along the top of the headstock. This model only lasted from 1978 to 1981. One of my coworkers got one for Christmas back in 1980.

NS Design SCT6 FIN
The NS Design SCT6 FIN is the latest design from Ned Steinberger. It's got the same basic design as one of this older guitars, but has fanned frets and is made out of carbon fiber. It's got three passive humbuckers that are under a large cover. There's a volume knob (push/pull to turn the preamp on), a tone knob (push/pull coil tap), what I think is another knob to control the preamp, and a 5-way blade switch. It's also got a fold-out leg rest if you want to play it sitting down.

Martin Grand J-28E DN
The Martin Grand J-28E DN is a 12/6 doubleneck with a jumbo body. Both necks share the same soundhole. It's also got Fishman electronics, but I don't see any controls on any other pictures of the body. If you're a lefty and want one of these, good news! Martin makes left-handed versions, too.

Schecter Synyster Gates 'Syn AC-GA SC'
Here's an acoustic guitar that Schecter made for Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates. It's a fairly normal acoustic with a cutaway, but the true weirdness is in the paint job and inlay work. It's black with gray horizontal stripes of varying thickness. It's got winged skulls painted in a circle around the soundhole, and a winged skull and the letters "SYN" inlaid on the neck. The 3/3 split headstock has devil horns kinda like the old Burns guitars used to have. I saw one of these at the music store yesterday, but forgot to post it. Here's some weirdness I saw at the music store today.
Here's a 12-string acoustic guitar with 4 extra harp strings. The brand on this is Tennessee, but I haven't been able to find any other info on it. Here's a black Dean Explorer bass. (I can't remember what they're really called, but you get the idea.) It's a John Entwistle signature model. It's got white spiderwebs painted on it, and It's also got bright green strings. Here's a Luna acoustic guitar with a neat landscape on it. The sun is setting behind some mountains, and a bear is walking towards some trees. Everything looks like it's made out of different colors of wood. Here's a guitar that's similar to the Teisco E-110 Tulip I posted a while back, but the cutaway horns are curved inwards. The brand on the headstock is Strad-O-Lin. Behind it is a Wylde Audio Odin Grail Norse Dragon. It's basically a Les Paul with an extra point on the end and a bent cutaway horn.

The Backlund Neptune looks like a melted Flying V with a large metallic pickguard. It's got 3 blade-style single-coils, one volume and one tone control, and a 5-way blade switch.

Fender Custom Shop Paisley Fantasy Stratocaster
This Fender Stratocaster was built by the Custom Shop for the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Japanese alt-rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel. It's got the normal Strat setup (3 single-coils, one volume/two tone, whammy bar), but the real weirdness is in the paint job. The left half of the body is painted in red and yellow paisley, and the right half is black with white dots that look like stars in the night sky. Golden tendrils from the paisley reach out into the stars.

Manson tripleneck
Hugh Manson has built some weird guitars for John Paul Jones. He's the one that built the famous acoustic tripleneck, and he also built the Lapaphone I posted a while back. Here's one of his latest creations. This tripleneck electric is kinda shaped like a Gibson Model F mandolin with an upper cutaway and 3 necks. The one on top is a mandolin, the middle one is an 8-string tenor guitar, and the bottom one is an 8-string bass.. The bass has two pickups, and the other necks have one. There's a volume, a tone control, and a neck switcher knob. It looks like the bass part might be detachable for easier storage.

Robin RDN doubleneck
Here's a great picture of Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan playing a Robin RDN doubleneck guitar onstage. Stevie is sitting down and is playing the top neck while hunched over the guitar, and Jimmie is standing behind him, playing the bottom neck, and smiling at something to his right. The RDN is a Strat-shaped doubleneck with a normal Strat setup on the bottom and an octave guitar on top. The octave guitar has one pickup. There's a volume for each neck, a master tone, a 5-way blade switch for the Strat, and a 3-way switch to choose what neck is being output. Both necks have reversed 6-in-line headstocks.
