Today's #DeskCar is the #diecast #Matchbox MB299 Mack Auxiliary Power Truck from the 1-75 1996 release. It is also a member of the Final Responders in #Gaslands . I think the bits on top are floodlights, I think the front one will stay as a light, but the rear one will be a turreted rocket launcher.

This was really fun to put together. It was cool using pieces that are not familiar to me like Lego are. I'm not a car guy, but I love this Hot Wheels casting. I do wish it had actual metal parts, though. The hubcaps should have at least been chromed

Today's #DeskCar is the Matchbox MB299 Ambulance from the 1999 5-Pack Survival set. This will be part of a #Gaslands Highway Patrol team, Final Responders. I'll paint the team all-white with big red Xs, instead of the Red Cross.

Today's #DeskCar is the Hot Wheels '65 Mercury Comet Cyclone from the 2025 HW Gassers 5-Pack. This is my favorite of all the gasser-type #diecast cars I have. Like the other gassers, this will be part of the #Slime team, Gas-Painz.

Been working on my second #Warden team for #Gaslands. This is Cell Block M of Capuz Preto (black hood). They are all Matchbox cars where I try to preserve the original playworn patina (except for the Firebird, I had to scuff that one up). I took a trash-bash approach for the most of their builds.
