Quickly logged into my work emails to delete a job application submission email (my supervisor checks our nhs email though she's not supposed to be allowed)
Saw an email where a consultant is not happy about something I did before my holiday and am annoyed right back. That'll teach me for logging in

Can't find myself feeling any sympathy for a man who owns 40 properties. Because the only reason anyone owns 40 properties is pure greed. Of course he's a reform Councillor, he's exactly the type of person they'd allow.

Councillor Barry Elliott ordered to pay debts owed to own council
Reform UK's Barry Elliott has business rates and council tax arrears of almost £40,000.

45 more minutes, and I'll be at home. After a bus, a plane, another bus, a short walk, and a train, I'm ready for my bed. I do love holidays, I do hate the travelling to and from holidays. My own fault for insisting on always flying from Liverpool airport.

Popped out for an evening meal of beef cheeks with mashed potato. I asked for grilled vegetables as an extra because the dish apparently comes with root vegetables, but I didn't see any on any of the photos I'd checked. Half a cider to go with it. Left the restaurant all warm cheeked and full ☺️

I only took one of the planned trams. So I have been snowed on and snowed on and snowed on. Back at the apartment for lunch and dry off/warm up. Somehow walked 6 miles despite hopping on the trams 😴
A slower morning today. This time yesterday, I was up and out. This morning I'm aching from 12 miles of walking. I do have a plan for today, it includes a tram this time, though

Lots of statues on Charles Bridge in Prague. Would it have killed them to put one gargoyle on there? 😁 I did love this one, though, here for the dog, but also the guy being dangled(?) Off a castle wall?

In Prague for a few days. First stop Lidl 😁

Do I need a shampoo bar for 4 days in Prague? 🤔

Catch up over tea with a friend at the vegan cafe so I could have cake. Had this lovely orange and thyme cake. Left my gloves on the bus 🤦‍♀️

Today felt like a week, I heard some gossip that didn't surprise me, consoled an upset colleague, tried to get some work done. Felt like I got nowhere. It was a very people day rather than a get anything done day. But I've got the next week off and I left everything as sorted as I could do.

The living room light has just gone kaput, the fire alarm won't stop beeping as battery is low but previous tenant has crossthreaded the opening. The TV has sound but no picture.

Anything else?

Bridlington ice trail and Christmas foodie market. Missed the fire and ice show because it was too packed to see.

Two horrors and one lovely, funny light fiction read #BookSky #reading

Awake since 2:20am. Not sure if it's the splints or the stress waking me up. Probably a combination. Going to be a very tired Friday in the office today.

Petition: Limit the sale of fireworks to those running local council approved events only
Ban the sale of fireworks to the general public to minimise the harm caused to vulnerable people and animals. Defenceless animals can die from the distress caused by fireworks. I believe that permitt...

Yes, I did get soaked in torrential rain on the way home from work, but I am having pie and mash for tea, so it doesn't even matter 😊

Tried some arm nerve glides to try and get to the bottom of this nerve pain I've been medicated for for years. Was sure it was impossible for there to be compression anywhere. Holy moly, so many little spots of tightness!
So now nerve glides exercises have become another part of daily maintenance

Got up to a flooded kitchen. I'd popped the washing machine on (towels and cloths) before going back to bed for a while.
Water everywhere, checked under the sink and nothing wet there. Pulled washer out, no water there.
Something was clanking while washing, which I thought was strange.

A busy day of household chores and food shopping. Time to curl up with some pizza and that new Frankestein film on Netflix.

So this is the scam DM received. Don’t be fooled, don’t click. Preemptive block is suggested.

Ah chronic illness, hello my old friend.
I had been doing so well I started to think I was invincible and pushed too far this week. So yes I absolutely had to go to bed at 7:30pm and lie here in the dark, not moving. Hoping this helps and tomorrow I wake up ok.
