I'm watching 'The West Wing'. I know Sorkin is pretentious as hell, but.. I miss that. There was time when it was just ideas. We believed that they all wanted what was best for everyone and disagreed how to do that. Maybe I was naive.. I dunno. I miss hope. I miss the idea that it Can get better

Maybe I am a tad bitter that other teams still get to play. Decided I'd rather spend my Sunday afternoon watching The Return of the King Extended Edition in the theater. Feels like a more pleasant way to spend my day
