Those who advocate fighting back against ICE, but still want to condemn Hamas, are you starting to get it now?

What I need you all to understand is that America has always been fascist. This particular flavour of fascism is the most virulent we've seen, but it hasn't come out of nowhere. American politics and society has had a fundamental undercurrent of fascism since its inception. This is just metastasis.

It's brave of Reform's Zia Yusuf to help @zackpolanski.bsky.social set out some Green Party policies.

Thanks, Zia.

Oh, and btw - you’re right. We do need to get behind the only party that can save this country: join.greenparty.org.uk.

At a certain point, some stuff just can't be meaningfully improved. Fridges and washing machines do what they're supposed to. Shoving computers into them is scraping at fractional, hollow gains. Meanwhile, the global south is looted for minerals and our landfills overflow, and we're still unhappy!

What's the deal with shamelessly self promoting in spaces like this? We good with it? Am attempting to move the economic needle on the Green Party just a smidge further to the left.

Does anyone else feel thoroughly desensitised to events like Bondi in the midst of the ongoing genocide in Palestine as well as the ongoing horrors of capitalism?

Totnes' 4th Community Assembly was a hit! Almost 100 people packed out the Civic Hall & had a great discussion about housing, the most pressing for local residents.

My new favourite thing, upon recognition that my time really is less important than that of others, and after driving way more carefully anyway while in my van, is to let basically everyone in in front of me. It makes driving so much more pleasant an experience.

We think of our conscious minds as if they're the rider on a horse, but our studies into neuroscience show that they're just telling stories about the journey, so our consciousness is more like the hat on the riders head.

The worst aspect of the male experience is to be constantly prejudged and avoided on the basis of the behaviour of other men, which is a fucking drag

For those in favour of a two state solution, can you provide an example in history of where partition along religious grounds has gone anything other than shockingly awfully?

When anyone promotes capitalism / colonialism by pointing out 'we built the roads & trains in X country', point out that such transport links almost exclusively run from mines etc to trading ports, ie in the interest of extraction by foreign multinationals rather than servicing local interests.

Why would, or should Hamas disarm entirely while the IOF remains fully armed and liable to break the ceasefire like they have done many times before?
