In order to stop Trump's threats to make Canada the 51st state Trudeau should say, "You know who would love to put a few hundred thousand troops into Canada, right next door to the USA, at our friendly call for help? China. I don't think it would take them more than a few weeks." . #Canada #China

Seems like Trudeau and Trump are talking past each other. Trudeau says US tariffs postponed by 30 days for negotiations on a border deal. Trump says he wants, "to see whether or not a final Economic deal with Canada can be structured.” So which is it #Canada: a border deal or an Economic deal?

Canadians can avoid sending money to American companies by switching from Microsoft or Mac to Linux. Most computer use is for internet, word processing, spreadsheet and gaming; Linux Kubuntu, Libre Office, Firefox, and Steam are great options. Go #Canada!

Just realized something: If US govt shuts down because Repubs can't agree on funding and debt package, they look incompetent but if it shuts down by EO so they can review programs for compliance with new anti-DEI policies, they look strong (to some). Ridiculous political game!

1/n I've been learning Rust for over a year, mainly working on a more bio-realistic version of Neural nets (without emulating all of biology - that may be too low a level of abstraction). One of the "joys" of Rust is that you often find yourself at the bleeding edge of the tech.
