Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

All of the media should stop attending these "press conferences," whose only purpose is to beat them down and humiliate them and advance the administration's crazy lies. The House always wins, and these people should be smart enough to know that.

This is important. The ultimate target of ICE etc. is a lot more than "illegal immigrants" (though the Trumpists certainly hate them). Immigrants are just the easiest initial scapegoat. The machinery being set up is clearly meant for something much bigger.

I don't think I'm being biased when I say that several long-running WFMU DJs have permanently transformed days of the week. Sunday afternoons are associated w/garage rock (Bill Kelly), Saturday afternoons are associated w/greasy RnR (the Hound), and Sunday mornings have long been reggae time (Jeff).
