I have such a love-hate relationship with #TheTraitors, because on one hand the unconscious bias (especially this series) is extremely noticeable and frustrating, but on the other the last 20 minutes of tonight's episode were some of the most edge of my seat TV I've ever seen.

If America is now occupying Venezuela, then I hope Venezuelans hit back.

I know which side I'm on and it ain't the US.

Not surprised about Jesse Eisenberg being my most watched actor last year on Letterboxd as I saw 8 films with him (including rewatching A Real Pain), but Steven Soderbergh as my most watched director is a considerable improvement over Zack Snyder for 2023 and Todd Phillips for 2024.

#MartySupreme is going to be my first review of this year so I'll hold back the majority of my thoughts for now, but I will say as soon as the credits started rolling I threw my hands up in the Martin Scorsese "Absolute Cinema" pose. The hype is real with this one.

Rang in 2026 with the finale of #StrangerThings... definitely played things on the safer side but on whole a very satisfying farewell that earned the 2 hour runtime as well as being a bit sentimental.

Welcome to SURREAL WEEK, where calories don't count, drinking is governed by airport rules, no one cares how you're dressed, and marathoning old movies is the norm. You have until January 5th when doing absolutely fucking nothing becomes embarrassing again. Do nothing with it wisely.

New Projector review! It's the most last-minute of festive videos, as I review the absolutely bonkers new take on the Charles Dickens' carol, Christmas Karma, which has its heart in the right place, but is a disaster. Oh, and Boy George is Ghost of Christmas Future. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBdo...

After a banner year of Warner Bros putting unique, filmmaker driven original movies into theaters and getting giant audience turn out for them, the corporation that now owns them would like you to know that actually you didn’t like this and that what you really wanted was to watch at home.

Absolutely nuts. ScreenRant made a YouTuber take down a video because she called them a "content mill" (how dare she)
NEW VIDEO! In January, I made a video titled “The Geek Content Mills Ruining the Internet.” In November, that video disappeared. The reason why? Screen Rant's parent company, Valnet, sent a cease & desist letter to my house. So… let's go over that. It's quite the situation.
