Seems to be incredibly common for the older generation - sort of 50s age range. I was looking for settings on Insta to block anything labelled with AI, but nope - can't do it. Absolutely detest what's going on in digital world right now... Just hope the bubble bursts soon!

Recently discovered a Welsh author I was following on Instagram sharing genAI videos/images of her book's characters and I was stunned. Like, you're an author - what are you doing!?

It amazes me how people in the creative space lack care for other creative arts that are different to theirs.

I buy and play games for the sole purpose of finding references and getting footage for videos, and I hope it shows!

This really stand out as far as Welsh culture representation goes in a high profile game. Subtle Welsh naming of weapons, locations, and only the Welsh will be getting the pronunciations correct :P

But introducing the language and teaching the world a common phrase too - it's extremely appreciated.

It's grating, isn't it? The sad thing is I've seen critical comments online for games that use such names because they're "unpronounceable". And yet for us, they're being mispronounced anyway!

There's an ignorant mindset prevalent among developers *and* fans not of the culture.
