Yeah after looking at it more I agree, I think the blue target I show is actually further ahead and the smoothing/spring on the camera never quite catches up to it.

For sure just “noodling around” with art and sounds without actually making the game is not a good idea (if your goal is to finish something)

It’s almost no code, just a well-structured mess of rigid bodies and joints! (Using Jolt physics with Godot 4.5)
