Six hundred men aboard this doomed ship, and all of us will strive for our quarry until we draw the fatal blow.
I think that of all the shocking news in the last few weeks, the Georgia plant immigration raid was the most unexpected if not the most shocking. Subsidies at cross purposes with immigration policy in the most ludicrous example imaginable. Just baffling.
"The incident is a clear example of the United States’ insanely bureaucratic and wildly irrational immigration laws—and how their needless complexity effectively creates an open license for government abuse." --Scott Lincicome | Capitolism (Article unlocked 🔓)

"You've got this comical spectacle of ICE agents running through the onion fields at Oxnard chasing down a couple of guys in straw hats, who look like they might be illegally picking onions."

Learn how design hubris over the placement of side view mirrors led to worse fuel economy and NVH in then1996 Ford Taurus.
I think that I need to read this book.

Quick initial thoughts on the White House "Skinny Budget." 🧵

1) It cuts non-defense discretionary spending by $163 billion (23%) - but plows every dollar back into defense and border spending. So zero net savings (and adds to deficit when including revenue losses from IRS cuts).

A very useful and cogent plan of action from a professional retired fund manager about getting Tesla out of your owned assets portfolio. 🧵
1/ A thread on how to take down Elon Musk and Tesla.

Yes, the protests are terrific and highly useful in creating public awareness & dissuading would-be buyers. I salute the magnificent people organizing them & attending them.

But let's discuss another line of attack that can be VERY POTENT.

Bad news: Max Fun must now equitably divide $10 among the three shows I support. Good luck, suckas!
